Wanted to have a go at ships after a trip to Buckler’s Hard and Beaulieu in the New Forest (south UK), where they used to build them. Pleased with how they came out, but lots I would do differently a second time around though. Keen to improve, so any feedback would be great – thanks!

Wow! Cars in perspective are hard to draw in 15 minutes, let alone paint also! I like how the rough and smooth textures contrast, and the background through the windows is a nice touch. I have wondered before how to ‘infer’ text (as opposed to writing it in) such as on the license plate. This is cleverly done and a good example to follow. Really good 🙂
I think you got the shine spot on. Looks really good. I also fell foul of the non-existent vegetable category, but I checked and fortunately a pepper is a fruit too 🙂 The learning benefits of this challenge extend beyond painting!
