Thanks. One of my favourites and was going to hang it at home but its gone to New Jersey, USA.
That’s lovely Paula. Your granddaughter will love it.
Very nice painting. Nice to live in that part of the world, plenty to paint.
Very good. You do these scenes really well.
Excellent painting. Great colours.
An 8*6in watercolour. I rarely do still life paintings so would be interested in what people think.
Lovely. Has a great sense of light.
Very successful with only three colours.
An angled shadow on the sand cast by the cliffs would help the pic as the figures are casting a shadow also.
Use any aid you want to make life easier.
Think the fish look flat just because they’re silver all over so there isn’t any definite pattern to them for you to paint to make them look round. Maybe a reflection of light on them to give them form but it’s very difficult.
A 14*10in watercolour from my own photo.
Think it does everything you wanted to achieve.
Not painted flowers for many moons. This is from a tutorial.
Lovely study, maybe adding a warmer yellow highlight on the shoulders to reflect light from the lighting above? Very nice though.
Lovely Annette, reminds me of Annabel Burton’s work.
Nice painting David and typical of your style, only small point I’d make is the boat masts are going behind the boat. You need to extend them down into the boat but a great pic.
The basic anatomy scale looks great.
Great painting. The sky and sea are particularly good.
