This really captures the mood by only using a very limited pallet. I would not change a thing
Lovely painting Brian. A lot of work has gone into this and the result is great. The cottages in particular really catch the eye and are complimented by the purple hills. The isolation and rugged terrain are really captured here.
This is a very professional painting. You are a very talented artist. Please post more of your work.
Wow Paul. This is my favourite painting of yours so far.. l agree with all the comments above.
Agree with everything that’s been said Pete absolutely stunning. Merry Christmas and a happy New Year to you.
Great work Ali the middle iceberg to me looks like a giant ice whale breaching . Love it.
Love your interpretation Annette. Thanks Martin , RL and Joyce .
Wow think what you could do in 10 mins !!!!
Agree with Joyce. The sun shining on the lighthouse is sensational.
My wife reckons this little sparrow is sitting on a cloud rather than snow. Anyway I thought it would be ok for a Christmas card entry. Thanks again for looking and a very merry Christmas to all my pure watercolour mates.
I agree with you Anne .the pear and the leaves are fab.
your style is evolving with each painting Paul. Love the colours and the uniqueness ( is that a word ah well). Staithes was one of my favourite places to holiday as a child.
You make me laugh with your funny remarks and l love this happy little painting.
