Needed an easy and sunny project today. used lots of paint,that all turned into brown, salt and plastic wrap (that really made the petals look nicer). Inspired by Jean Haines.
The salt got stuck so now it’s a 3-d piece!
I kept count with pensil stripes beside all paintings.
I used plastic wrap to improve the grasses i painted going up and down and for the other flower’s background (were i went in rounds for the flowerhead details).
Used a sponge on the blue flower and the seascape. The sea surprised me so much, i love it.

I went for abstract🤔 but then added the dandelion leaves… and the buds … 🤣
Giving wet in wet loose painting a go and did the online SAA Workshop: Loose Watercolour Poppies with Joanne Boon Thomas.
I like the vivid look but dont understand where to wash out what and where to drop paint, it gets messy real quick. Found this workshop Easy to follow and uncomplicated!
