I like the colors you used in these paintings. The second is particularly good. Those weeds look quite nice. 😉 The rest of the garden is lawn, I gather. Looks like a lovely place to rest or play.
Pretty, harmonious colors and lovely view!
Great job, Henry! Lovely colors and loose style.
He looks stunned–someone must have stolen his nuts! Great job on the fur.
Good advice. I often paint a composition more than once. Will try that. Thanks. 🙂
Welcome, Harry. Glad to have you join us!
Looks like a lovely crisp morning in winter. Great job for such quick work. Good luck!

Beautiful! Love the additions. Looks great.
Beautiful painting of the birds. Didn’t remember the name either.

Love it, Martin. The foliage is as fluid as the water. Great loose expression. Well done.
Good advice, Mark. Figures are hard to do. Great job on showing movement with his bended knee.
Simple composition, well done, Martin.
That is a gorgeous photograph, Alex. I’ve been having trouble painting desert landscapes lately. Would you mind if I used your photo for a future painting?
Can I ask what kind of paper you are painting on? And eventually, you will narrow down your palette to a few tried and true favorites.
This is a fairly loose no-sketch painting.
I really like this. You have a unique contemporary style, which I applaud. I seem to be mimicking other artists, still trying to find my own style. Very nice.
I agree, the junipers add a softness and a bit of “life”, offsetting the rock-hard desert formations. Very nice painting.
