Yes. When I’m not painting on a full sheet, I tear (instead of cutting) the paper to maintain the deckled edge on all four sides of the smaller sheet I’ll be working on. I do this with a metal yardstick and lots of constant pressure at the “tear point” while I tear.
I’ve never used Strathmore but it looks to have a nice, natural texture.
