  1. wondered what might be going on with the stoppage of videos. I can say from my own recent treatment for prostate cancer I understand what a roadblock wondering about the future can be. Hang in, post as you feel like it. All are behind you

    • Thank you for your comment. It has been a tough few months. I’ve recently had the results back from the MRI scan which look promising. I’m just waiting to come off of the latest course of Antibiotics to see if my PSA levels have dropped. Depending on the outcome they will decide weather or not to do a biopsy. At the start of this I never realised the length of time it would take to get a definitive diagnosis. I’m feeling well and positive and started to get on with living and to stop worrying. I really appreciate you taking the time to post and I wish you all the best for the future.

  2. Hi Patrick, I am so sorry to hear that you have health issues, and wish you all the best. I hope the tests are uplifting! I was worried that you didn’t get home safely from your trip, so it’s nice to finally see your post, well, at least until I logged on and saw your notice. Great to see sketches from your new studies. I am a very lazy sketcher too, and it always gives me a struggle while painting. But I just want to PAINT 🙂 I try to always have a pencil and sketchbook ready now, but it’s hard. Colored pencils help, because color! 😉

    • Hi Ella, its great to hear from you. Things are looking more positive at the moment the MRI didn’t see anything suspicious which is a relief. I’m back to see the consultant in a couple of weeks so I will no more then. The news certainly lifted my mood and got more drawing again. The paints are not flowing quite right yet but soon a bit more practice and all will be good. I always mean to get into the habit of carrying a small sketchbook now you have mentioned it I will definitely start doing that. I hope this sounds appropriate but I have something you might be interested in. I was going through all my old sketches a couple of weeks ago and I found that small watercolor you liked of the beach in Cornwall, breaking waves. If you can provide an address I will happily forward it on to you it’s only a very quick sketch so there is no charge I would be happy for you to have it as I never followed up on your enquire before. I will PM you my email in PW you will need to log in to acess the message. Hope you get this reply!

  3. Good luck, Patrick. Don’t skip any meals and get the proper amount of sleep. I’m looking forward to your continued good works.

    • Thanks Thom, I’m now getting plenty of early nights and I’m very conscious about my diet. Hopefully this is all going to pay off. Keep an eye out for any upcoming videos on PW and Youtube. Thanks for taking the time to post 🙂

    • Hi Nick thanks very much for your post and info on dealing with spam. I have deactivated the forums at this time while I decide what to do with that part of the website. Frankly, I’m feeling that the PW and my ideas of operating my own website need a total rethink. I have quite a few other things go deal with at the moment and I will leave making a final decision until things have settled down a little.

I really appreciate the information you sent and have bookmarked the info given.

      All the best
