    Watercolour on Saunders Waterford NOT paper. 1/4 imperial. I used a picture from PMP. There wasn’t really any contrast between the two buildings, so I increased the darks on the right hand side and used a limited palette. I’ve done a few street scenes recently.

    Nicely done Pete. I really like the use throughout the painting of the dusty rose, greyish tone you’ve use starting on the building then flowing throughout in various values.

    I love the looseness but clarity of the scene.  That is something I have yet to master.  How long did this take you to paint and I’m curious as to how the process felt as you focused in on a photo of an experience from long ago.
