I’ve been longing for spring or any season actually that has some colour in it.
Here are a couple of attempts.

And here is the last one – this is the Muskoka River that I’ve been trying to paint as the ice starts it’s break up.

These are all fabulous Patricia, the freshness in the colours is sublime. The river is not an easy subject to portray but you have managed to paint the movement and coldness of the water/ ice superbly.

Wow Martin! That’s pretty high praise. The river continues to challenge me, but I’m glad the sense of the cold was conveyed.

They are all so nice. Fresh and lovely. What size? I can envision art work better if I know how big/small it is.

I love the colours and ‘flow’ of your paintings. They are so beautiful. And I agree with Martin, water is so difficult and you’ve captured its flow through the ice. Well done.

Tina, thanks so much. I really appreciate the feedback, especially about the river since that one had me so stumped.

These are very nice, Patricia. I especially like the second one. Love the misty distant sky and hills, great color variation through the middle ground and the stronger tones toward the foreground. The splatter of pebbles is a nice touch. One thing–I wasn’t sure if the orange/violet on the right was a hill or part of the foreground tree (I’m thinking not, though). If not then the tree should be darker to bring it more forward. All in all, lovely paintings.
