    hello my watercolor friends,

    i have a wooden artbox.
sometimes i see in the stores here some wodden boxes with wine and other foods.
mine box is already 30 years old it was a giveaway with tissues.
so in the last weeks i made it to a artbox where i can put in all my stuff for painting.
i also can use it as an table easel.
on the top i fixed a lumber with screws to hold my painting block or board.
at the inner side i put also a lumber where i can regulate 3 hights.
in the lid I attached 2 straps with velcro.
there I can store 2 blocks 9.4×12.6 inch.
in the lower part i have some packs with tube color, my watercolors, paletts and brushes also my watercolor pens have space.
    sponge and other stuff too.
so i think its an good idea for travel and even pleinair when you can sit at an picknick place with an sit and table.
the inner size of the box is 33,5cm x 24.5 cm x 9,5cm.
so look in the stores for some wodden boxes they are very usefull.
    greetings wolfgang.

Awesome! I thought of getting something like this. My living space is fairly small, so I use my small kitchen table for painting. I constantly need to pack things away because that table has multiple purposes. This box is not just practical, it also look very beautiful!

I also have very little space so it is important to me to have everything together. there are artist boxes to buy but usually there are also colors and then it is very expensive.

Nice one, and it looks sturdy too.

I have one similar to that, but mine is degraded to holding things on a shelf because its just too unstable to carry around or use as table-easel.
