Hi all, Howard posted his painting on Pure Watercolour and needed a bit of help. I looked at the ref image and thought it would make an excellent lesson so thought it better to produce a video than to try to explain to Howard how I would do it.
Mines far from perfect but I enjoyed painting it very much. Hope you all have ago, looking forward to seeing your efforts.

This watercolour demonstration will help you understand colour, shadows, lights and dark’s (values) The tips in this demonstration teach’s you how to soften edges, create light and interest in your work. Don’t worry if you haven’t got the exact colours just use what is closest in your paint box. The most important thing is to have a go.
After completing your painting drop by the forum where members critique each others work. Personally I can’t critique all work but will do my best to critique some.
